I.M.C.A. AMMORTIZZATORI was established in 1968 with the idea to produce mechanical shock absorbers for mopeds.The company affirm itself on the market in a short time due to the functionality and simple construction of its products. In order to satisfy the customers needs it became necessary to work in close collaboration with the customer leading to natural creation of an elastic production line.
To the original production line it was immediately integrated with a significant line of shock absorbers for ciclo-cross followed by a large series of hydraulic and hydro-pneumatic shock absorbers that since has been fulfilling the demands of the two wheels sector - mopeds - motorcycles - scooters - mountain bikes - as well as other various applications such as: seats - trailers - small vehicles - and industrial applications.
In 1998 celebrated its 30th anniversary and achieves ISO 9001 Certification as well, maintaining its initial characteristic of constant growth.
In the same year a new line of products is commercialised under the name
composed of a vast range of competition shock absorbers for motorcycles and scooters.
